The Otherworld Rangers need YOU! The Otherworld Rangers are volunteers who act as non-confrontational community mediators at Otherworld. Your role will be to facilitate non-violent communication, promote safety, and to help ensure everyone's well-being. In other words, to help people show respect for each other and the environment around them.

ANYONE can be an Otherworld Ranger - all you really need to have is a desire/ caring /concern for Otherworlders! Help us to look out for each other! It's fun, easy, and you'll be making a real contribution to the community.

What do you need in order to Ranger at Otherworld 2009? A desire to help, show up for Otherworld ranger training, and show up for your shift in a "fully present" state of mind. Beyond the basic orientation, there is no special training required to Ranger at Otherworld, although people with specialized training such as conflict resolution/mediation, counseling or first aid would be particularly welcome.

Don't worry if you are new to the scene or you don't have any of these skills, we would still value your contribution. If you are a little unsure about Rangering - don't worry, all Rangers will have partners while on shift!
